My Animation

Thsi is my animation the way i came across this idea was after doing the experimentation with the textures and patterns i thought i would take my logo and flip it and repeat it a few times untill i came up with the over laying pattern above i then put a glow on it , i then took my original logo and made it big i then made it move using the animation feature on photoshop, i had it bouncing around like on dvd players i feel this is a clever animation which involved things that i would use for other things the pattern over the tip for example can be used on clothing and desktop and designs, over all i am very happy with my animation and i may use it in thefuture for advertising reasons.

Neville Brody

Neville Brody is an alumnus of the Londone college of printing and Hornsey College of Art and Design, and is known for his work on the face magazine (1981–1986) and areana magazine (1987–1990), as well as for designing record covers for artists such as cabarat voilitare an depeachy mode. He created the company Research Studios in 1994 and is a founding member of Fontworks. He has been announced to be the new Head of the Communication Art & Design department at the Royal College of Art commencing in January 2011.

 This is an image of one of neville brodys art work, i really like this style of art using a human face and mergin it into text and having it all away the txt also works really well with it and it makes a great poster or magazine cover i think i maybe using something like this for my magazine cover iv started by having an image of me ina waste coat wnd filling the waste coat with text saying shakerz designs over and over i feel this is a good use of typography and it simular to the techniques brody has used in his work, as i like the look of brodys work i feel his work greatly influences my work and the way it looks makes me want to make my images to look simular to his.



This is an image of his magazine called The face neville is most known for this magazine it is a fashion magasin which basicly goes threw the fastion things goin on and how grafics relates to it, his graphical work really works well with the look he is trying to get like u can see on this front cover that, its and image showing shock and hurt by the look on her face and the smashed glass i have done work simular to this befor for an album cover and i feel it is a great effect which i will probs use again in the future for other work also the black and which works really well with the red of some of the text it helps it to stand out and it really adds a sence of mood to the peice.

Website demo on Flash

Today we did a little demo on how to creat a website with buttons on flash it was a very simple demo but i found it very usefull and handy to know i feel il use this method alot especialy when i am creating my buttons for some other work that i am doing. here are a few doc shots of my work in progress.

That little box up the top corner of the screen is where we selected the buttons that we wanted to use , to do that you go to window then cliko n comman libuary then selec buttons then you can search threw the libuary for a button that you would like to use.

This is a doc shot of the proses of making an action for ur buttons when you select a button and then click on the option that you want that button to do for example set it to go to a page or set it to play a short clip ect.

This doc shot is of my final outcome of it all put together into a interactive webpage, this is a very simple design but it is very effective and it shows the basics of how to create a webpage and will be very helpfull for when creating my own website.

The way we created a webpage was to first create 4 layers named, actions, buttons , content and background the reason they have those names are self explanatory, we then cut it into segemtns of 10 , then 20 then 30 then 40 filling it all with frames
