My proposal is to create a website for my own photo editing company called Shakerz Designs, this website will include what my skills are it will have a portfolio and will have a chance for visitors to view my past work that i have done, at the moment the work i do is strictly voluntary. My website will be split into 3 different sections these sections are , album covers, flyers and posters, clothing & logos,. It will also display my logos and copyright logos. This website will be to replace or work alongside with a website I have on facebook.
My first section, album cover design, will advertise for my services to create peoples album covers and gives the public a chance to write to me asking for what they want, they will have full control over what they want and i will have sections were I am open to feedback there will be a comments box, there will also be as a part of it a section to view projects i have done in the past for other people which may help them to decide whether they want to use me as there album cover designer.
My second section will be similar in lay out to the first one but advertising my services in flyer and poster design also displaying my past work and give the people chance to comment on my work , i will also give them a chance to view templates for flyers so rather than do more work they may like to just pick from some I have already made i will put my designs up with a shakers designs logo over it so they will have to download it some free and some I will charge for at a reasonable charge.
My third section will be about my clothing range 3LIVES it will show images of my clothing and people in my clothing, I will get images of people wearing blank shirts and them put my designs onto them using Photoshop, people will be able to order them threw the website and they will be ordered and made by me depending on demand. It will advertise polo tops t-shirts and some women’s clothing as well.
I hope that this website is a step forward to having my dream of having my own company this will be the foundations that i will have to build upon in order to become a big thing and for my company to take off and hopefully be ranound world wide for my designs and my clothing, i have created a time table for me to go by in order to plan the creation of this website.
I feel working to make my own website will be good practice for when i have ot maybe create websites for other people as a profession, i feel making a website to my own specification will help to improve my artistic and design abilities. I look forward to starting the website and i feel that this will be a huge step forward for my designing capabilities and it will be another skill to add into my cv.
