3D Text

Today we learnt how to creat 3D text on photoshop we did this by creatinga black background and duplicating that and naming one of the layers plain and gave that layer a gradiant of white to black we then put on that layer a txt then convertin it using the repousse, option and click the text option then you can adjust the settings on the 3d test by setting the depth and the bevel if you wish for it to have bevvle and stuff, but mainly to cheak out the depth. you then go to window and select and select the 3D option to edit the angles and the posistion of your text, then there is a light setting so u can put some light in there shining against ur text, you then adjust the angel and where u want the light, to change the colour of the text you go to the txt layer on the left hand side double click it highlight the text and click on colour overlay and choose your colour. this is an example of the work i produced for this demo.

The was a great activity to do i really enjoyed it and i know i will be using this technique for some future projects like flyers and posters and any other work that i have to do for this project or any projects of my own.
